Round 2 Wrap

Round 2Hello Tippers

Round 2 has come and gone and with it we say goodbye to the long weekend and hello to a short week. I hope you all had a great Easter break and didn’t get caught in that parking lot on Pt Wakefield road yesterday.

You know it’s a round of upsets when Darren is one of the top weekly tippers. Here are this week’s numbers that count.

22 – well what can be said about that Good Friday attempt at a footy game. At half time I thought I was watching an AFLW game both Saints and Roos were 2 goals 10… Wow-weeee!! Had to be one of THE worst matches I’ve seen in a long time, so bad that I had to socialise at the family luncheon I was at haha..  Saints fans would have wished they could have been locked in a cave with a giant boulder locking them in after witnessing that game.

8 – Carlton proved that Richmond playing bad in round 1 was just making them look good. Tom Lynch kicked a whopping 8 goals, his new PB and shows that Suns race for the top 8 is in flight. It is just the 2nd time Gold Coast have gone into Round 3 undefeated.

2 – the number of ambulances that arrived to the MCG on Saturday night. Horrific scenes when Tim Broomhead tried to soccer in a goal but hit the post instead. Scully was the next to go down when his ankle was trapped in a tackle.

302 – the amount of times we heard how great it was going to be seeing the Holy Trinity playing together. They got a combined 95 disposals between them, with Ablett (35 and 1 goal), Dangerfield (31 and 2 goals) and Selwood with (29 and 1 goal).

1 - Whilst all the limelight was on Ablett, Dangerfield and Selwood, Hawks stole the show taking a trilling 1 point victory over the Cats. Fun Fact in the past 11 years the winner has been decided by under 5 points 9 times.

6 – was the winning score this week.  12 of you managed some great tipping out of what was a tipsters nightmare! Congratulations to you all. Matilda (Cocka Jnr 3) was our winner this round as she had the closest margin of 1 point. Good work Matilda, please contact us to organise your weekly prize.

Ladder - We have Reet sitting on top of the ladder this week with 14, Dave Darzins is hot on his tail also with 14 points. Whilst the Drone Guy and 13 others have 13 points and will probably over think their tips way too much from here on out.

I hope you all have a great week. Darren is back and you should be hearing from him on Friday for his Round 3 predictions.

See u all soon. Go Crows!

Regards
