Round 15 Results

Howdy Footy Tipster,

So 6 games are come from behind wins or draw, Brisbane beat Essendon in Melbourne, Saints beat Freo in Freo, Tigers get up at AO, West Coast get a win at the MCG, whilst Geelong kick a point after the siren for a draw. You make think these are upsets and surprises BUT let me tell you one constant, it is the 2017 AFL season and we would not expect anything different. This year will be the biggest profit taken by the bookies in the history of the game.

Let’s have a look at the numbers that count…….

8 there will be a lot of talk about Port’s inability to get a win at home on Satdee night, especially after what Richmond’s last game was like at AO in round 5, when they got smashed by 76 pts, BUT it is 2017 and the Tigers have Dusty Martin. His new AFL Record is for broken tackles. He manages to break 8 tackles which will be hard to beat, ever!

6 Could and should be 6 weeks for Tommy Bugg but according to the MRP he only deserves 3 if Bachar only got 2. I sat there shocked he even did this after all the carry on last week about king hits. Wow what a dipstick.

4 he has probably got the longest hamstring in the AFL at maybe about 4 feet long, but now it has been split into 2 and sadly it may be the end for Freo’s Sandiland this year. This would definitely bring the end for their push at finals especially after St Kilda’s special effort.

15 round 15 gave us once again some extremely close finishes with most games again the winners had come from behind wins and even then the games that didn’t have come from behind wins like The Crows, Bulldogs had a good scare.

14 This game did scare me for Demon fans as they try to make a real push for finals top 4 action and Sydney did every thing they could to help them by kicking 1 goal 14 points to Melbourne’s 4 straight goals. It ended up being very ugly for them as it was but could have been so much uglier.

8 Buck’s thinks they could still make the top 8. Tell him he is dreamin’!

2 forget the, this home town advantage business theory as well with only 2 sides once again managing to win.

0 It’s a DRAW! No I am not talking about the Geelong and Giants clash after Hawkins shanked a shot after the siren. I am talking about the Brownlow medal. I am now starting to become a believer in Martin and Dangerfield winning the Brownlow this year after sensational games again on the weekend.

7 was the big number from our Weekly Winner in Round 15. It was 3 of our tipsters that managed this feat. Terry, Oaksie and our eventual winner by Margin points Fortunate Tigers. Send me an email Tiger man to arrange your prize.

83 Off to our leader board and our leader from last week, by 1, Mitch, took a hit this week. He scored a very unimpressive 3 this week but Magilla and David were not much better with only 4 and missed their opportunities to jump to an outright lead. The big mover in the top 10 was Anthony who with his 6 has jumped to 4th spot and is now only 1 spot from the top spot. There was an amazing amount of mixed results from out leadersboard as well which has come off with an amazing looking leadersboard. From 5th spot to 15th spot we now see them all on 81 only 2 from the lead. This year is far from over yet. It may all come down to margins in 2017.

Round 16 is starting up with a Friday clash for the Crow’s with last year’s Premiers and it is time now for you to work out which underdogs will win this week.

Good luck with that.
