Round 14 Wrap
A big hello to all ODV Footy Tipsters,
Oh, I feel so refreshed and ready to go, as like the Crows, I had a bye on the weekend and actually watched no football. So, I am very much looking forward to this weekend of footy and a Crows win at AO with an injection of new players.
Let’s have a look at some numbers that count…….
0 duck eggs continue this week and I would like one of you tipsters out there to tell me what is the record amount of goaless quarters in a season of AFL footy as I am sure this year has to have beaten it. The worst this weekend was West Coast, at home, going goaless in the 1st quarter against minnow Essendon.
7 on West Coast, this weekend they broke home attendance records this week being the first side to pull 7, over 50,000 fans, attendance games in a row.
53 Hawthorn have now played Gold Coast in Tassie 3 times. In 2016, the 1st time, Hawthorn won by 53 points. In 2017 Hawthorn beat Gold Coast by 53 points and yes you got it, on the weekend Hawthorn won by 53 points. Now that is spooky!!!
15 tipsters scored the max 6 this weekend with 6 of them actually selecting them properly (the others got the away team as they didn’t put their tips in for the Thursday night game) and the winner being LEGEND who was only 6 points off the margin. How any of you 6 selected Essendon to win in Perth I have no idea, but well done. And that comes form they guy always selecting an upset. Get in touch LEGEND
90 Mitchboy and Romeo hand on to the lead after both scored a nice 5 on the weekend. Still a nice wad of people well within striking distance at the half way mark. The interesting factor is if Mitchboy can be the first tipster to ever win back to back ODV Footy Tipping.
50 there has always been a lot of carry on about the Eagles getting so many frees at home. Even though they got thrashed on the weekend by Esse4ndon this didn’t stop the free count. Out of 50 free kicks the count was 33-17 Eagles way.
6 the amount of weeks Jeremy Cameron will get for his elbow to Harris Andrews.
1 That is where the COCK-O-THE NORTH is sitting at the moment up a top the SANFL premiership ladder. Go figure hey. GO THE ROOSTERS!!!!
Ok catch you all again on Friday all as we have shaken off the byes and hit the ground running for the big 2nd half of the season.
